Monday Morning Kids Series

As a part of our Arts in the Parks programs, wake up to Monday's at Moir Park! Bring your families and friends on Monday mornings through the summer to enjoy music, dancing and lots of fun! All shows start at 10:30 a.m. and are free and open to the public.

Join Wendy as she entertains with her original songs. Every child will be encouraged to participate with movement, engaging props and fun upbeat music.

Evening Performance Series

As a part of our Arts in the Parks programs, the sounds of summer will echo throughout Normandale Bandshell (unless otherwise noted) with the Twin Cities most sought after musicians and concert bands. Introducing our new Hillside Jazz Series, Jazz fans won't want to miss these premier jazz events on select Tuesdays.

Rum River Brass - Brass Quintet

The Rum River Brass is a quintet consisting of experienced players from the northern part of the Twin Cities. They play an eclectic repertoire, including jazz, classical transcriptions, ragtime, pop, Dixieland - in short, just about anything!

Blockbuster Performance Series

As a part of our Arts in the Parks programs, on select Thursdays throughout the summer we will be hosting some of the best entertainment in the Twin Cities as well as food venders to handle your dinner plans. Food vendors will begin serving at 6:30 p.m. The Thursday Blockbusters music begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public. 

Brat Pack Radio

Brat Pack Radio features the best in dance-pop favorites of the 80's, with an occasional hair band tune mixed in for good measure. Add to that the visual spectacle of the Super Show – everything from knife-juggling and spinning keyboards to stylish choreography and an impressive LED light show – and you have the recipe for a great night out!

Moonlight Movies

As a part of our Arts in the Parks programs, check out our new and exciting outdoor movies series! In our second year, we are stepping up the drama, featuring more movies on our 30 foot outdoor movie screen! Each film offers the public a chance to watch a movie beneath the stars, as well as enjoy the beautiful outdoor scenery. All films will be show at Normandale Lake Bandshell unless otherwise noted. We will be featuring the past season's hit releases!

Monsters University

104min - Rated G: Take a trip back in time to when star Monsters, Inc. employees Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) and James P. "Sulley" Sullivan (voice of John Goodman) were just two promising young students at Monsters University in this frightfully fun Disney/Pixar prequel. Long before they were lurking in closets for a living, Mike and Sulley were just two Scaring majors at Monsters University, dreaming of the day they would make children shriek in terror. When their heated competition to be the most fearsome in their class gets out of hand, however, Mike and Sulley find themselves ejected from the prestigious Scare Program, and they are forced to seek the aid of their oddball friends in order to get their education back on track.
