Monday Morning Kids Series

Wake up to Monday's at Moir Park! Bring your families and friends on Monday mornings through the summer to enjoy music, dancing and lots of fun! All shows start at 10:30 a.m. and are free and open to the public.

Rachael has been wowing audiences with her unique blend of interactive guitar music, comedy, cartoon impressions and juggling. Her high energy and fast paced shows also draw upon her captivating storytelling and theatrical techniques. Her various themes include: the power of kindness, the value of respect, our spiritual connection to the earth and its animals, and the ability to make our dreams come true

Evening Performance Series

The sounds of summer will echo throughout Normandale Bandshell (unless otherwise noted) with the Twin Cities most sought after musicians and concert bands. Introducing our new Hillside Jazz Series, Jazz fans won't want to miss these premier jazz events on select Tuesdays.

Everett Smithson Band

The Everett Smithson Band plays an interesting variety of music as well as standards that have a unique spin on them and many delightful originals.  Their New Orleans / French Quarter sound will feature Zydeco, Blues, Rockin Roots, Hillbilly Hoedowns, gospel and more.

Blockbuster Performance Series

On select Thursdays throughout the summer we will be hosting some of the best entertainment in the Twin Cities as well as food venders to handle your dinner plans. Food vendors will begin serving at 6:30 p.m. The Thursday Blockbusters music begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Breaking onto the music scene in the fall of 2011, this country rock septet has been gaining unchecked momentum ever since. Comprised of two combat veterans of the Iraq War, six music/composition majors and even a division one basketball player, Maiden Dixie is an eclectic mix of interesting characters. Each member's life story has followed a unique path that has ultimately led toward the creation of this country rock ensemble. With an inimitable blending of the country, rock, blues and folk genres, Maiden Dixie guarantees an exciting and enthusiastic live performance that is sure to get the audience up on their feet dancing.
