(more: Ars Technica) Google data shows that less than 2% of Android users have migrated to KitKat To most users' credit: they often can't upgrade their OS without buying a new phone. The carriers either don't send out the upgrades, or people just don't know enough to upgrade (look at the IE numbers for another example, and upgrading the OS on a phone takes more skill). Yeah. Great times. (more: UX Magazine) Announcing Sencha Space The rapid adoption of mobile technology and users bringing their own devices to work (aka BYOD) puts pressure on organizations to deliver mobile versions of apps that deliver critical functionality. Increasingly, organizations rely more on a virtual extended workforces, made up of partners, contractors, and other external collaborators who require access to sensitive data and applications. Sencha Space enables organizations to deploy applications to anyone without having to control their device. Oh well, maybe they can port all that speed over to the other devices. Everyone knows there's a drastic shortage of browsers.
