The Daily Build - 28 Mar 2014

20 articles yesterday.
Welcome to today's Daily Build from CodeProject.

A new Article Editor - but we need your help

At CodeProject we've been using the same WYSIWYG HTML Editor for our articles for, well, forever. It's time, however, to upgrade it to a new model and for this we've chosen to CKEditor, If you edit your articles (or post a new article) you'll see a "Are you feeling brave?" link at the top right of the submission wizard. Clicking that will take you to the new editor (though make sure you save your work before you click the link!).

However, we need your help!

We've created a new Workspace for our new editor as a way to enable a bunch of us to fine-tune the editor and make it sing. If you've used our WYSIWYG editor and have always wanted to make it better, then please fork the code and join in! Think of it as a chance to build your piece of CodeProject.

Protecting Android™ Applications with Secure Code Signing Certificates

Android is on the rise. Unfortunately, popularity can also bring unwanted attention. While Android fans love the fact that it is an open development platform that offers developers the ability to build extremely rich and innovative applications, the same open nature of the Android platform is what makes it so attractive to malware creators. It's high time for Android developers to increase their awareness of the pitfalls awaiting their users.
