Announcing Forward 2040: Taking Shape Together What does the future hold for Bloomington? The City is kicking off Forward 2040 -  a comprehensive planning process that defines Bloomington's 20-year vision and priorities. And we need your input to steer us in the right direction! Get Involved There are multiple ways to give us your input and get involved in Forward 2040. Visit the Forward 2040 website to sign up for email updates on the planning process. Take our Forward 2040 visioning survey and sign up to win a prize! Apply to serve on the Forward 2040 Advisory Committee. - The committee will be comprised of residents, local business owners, and other community leaders and will be integral to shaping the Forward 2040 process. Attend a Forward 2040 town hall meeting or look for the Forward 2040 booth at upcoming City events. - The theme of the first town hall is Sustainability. - It will be held on June 22, 2016 at 6:00pm at Jefferson High School.
