Site News

We're Sweet 16!

16 years ago on a snowy November afternoon our first server - a dual 350MHz beast of a beige box - came to life and served the first pages of what became CodeProject. Within a few short months we had over a thousand articles and we've kept on growing. Today we've had over 12 Million members register, over 50,000 articles, billions of page views, and an immeasurable number of hours saved from developers banging their heads against desks trying to work out how to finish their project.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to post an article, a tip, an answer to a question or simply an encouraging "thank you" or up-vote. Every bit helps, and remember that someone, somewhere, just found your post and it made a difference.

Microsoft Connect

...is this week. We'll be streaming all the good bits from Nov 18.

cheers,
Chris Maunder
