Apple to developers: Optimize your apps to iOS 7 by February Well, it's their party (as they're always happy to remind people) so I suppose people should have seen this coming. Supposedly, iOS7 has about 80% market share these days, so you won't be flipping too many people off (more: Read Write) A full-featured, $38 tablet is coming to the U.S. Really, how is this even possible? Even with insane volume discounts, I'd expect that the parts are more than $38. (more: Wall Street Journal) You won't be compelled to buy the Nokia Lumia 2520 after seeing this ad I get it: marketing well is hard. But how many people saw this and said, "Yes, that's what we want". Or were they just thinking (correctly, apparently) that it would be so bad people would pass it around? (more: Beta News) Windows Phone turned the corner in 2013 Still a long way to go, but being #3 is a great position for Microsoft: it means that they'll actually keep trying. As a certain company tends to demonstrate, people will forgive more if things look and feel good.
