That's like 98 years old in internet years. 14 years ago we opened up port 80 on our beast of a dual-350 MHz server, with its single 100Mb connection to the outside world and absolutely no redundency or Plan B. It was a cold, dark, snowy day but we knew what we wanted to do and we had the ridiculous idea that the two of us, plus a copy of ASP for Dummies, would be enough to do it. 14 years later we've raised a glass to our 10 millionth member and our 45,000th article and we're still growing. Coding has changed an awful lot since then but sharing code and helping one another out of those tough jams hasn't.
